Cold River Camp Cabins

CRC offers 26 charming cabins, each nestled among the trees for privacy and a connection to nature. Depending on the cabin, accommodations range from one to six people.

Family cabins: Located on the south side of CRC and extending toward the Cold River, these cabins sit on flat terrain and can accommodate two, three, four, or six people depending on the cabin.

Ravine cabins: Perched along the edge of a scenic ravine, these cabins offer forest and mountain views from the cabins’ decks. Most are designed for two people, with one cabin which accommodates one person.

Barracks and Tower offer accommodation for up to six people, and each has electricity, a toilet, and a sink.

In addition there are two centrally located cabins which each accommodate one person.

Every cabin contains a bed with a mattress, pillow, blankets, bed linens and a set of towels for each person. Fresh towels are provided halfway through the week. In addition, each cabin has a closet, bureau or cubbies, chairs, bedside table, waste basket, fire extinguisher, and a smoke detector. Most cabins have a fireplace or wood stove with wood and matches provided.

For campers who bring a cooler for keeping drinks or other items cool, there is a self-serve ice dispenser for guest use located near the restrooms in the Conant Lodge dining room.

CRC will do its best to accommodate requests for cabins with electricity for guests with health-related needs. However, only a few of the cabins have electricity and outlets, so while we will make every effort to meet requests, availability cannot be guaranteed.
